I think this is a smart move. How many copies of Metro 2033 can they be moving at this point? Anybody who had any interest in this title already has the game. By offering it for free, they are likely to grab a few fence-sitters who may find themselves surprisingly attracted to what this game has to offer, and in turn, generate interest in Last Light.

I bought Metro 2033 ages ago, barely played it, for some reason I just can't get into it! I really want to though, and Last Light looks pretty good too. I may have to try playing it again for a third time, maybe I'll see the light lol

Grabbed my copy. I bought it a long time ago, but this way it goes on my steam account. Which i never did with my old copy. This one seems to come with all the DLC that i've noticed. Thank you Mr Hagedoorn

Awesome ! Only because they gave me a free copy of Metro 2033, I will PURCHASE Metro: Last Light when it comes out, fully legitimate and full price ! This, my friends is how publishers should be working in the future. I hope the rest of them are taking note !

Hellz yeas. Free is always better than nothing. Create a good god damn game for free and distribute it like a massive DEMO version. Then charge for the following instalment... 🙂 ps: I will be buying Metro last light FOR 100% sure, even if it is half a turd. That is for sure ! I'm just so satisfied right now...

Only a few hours left guys. It's easy, goto the facebook page, like it, and you'll get your code. Copy/paste the code into steam and you're set. or use their installer which goes through steam anyways. It's seriously that easy, So any pirates, or people holding out, get your copy. I'm just posting this cause it says only a couple hours left.
