The part with the buttons on it is the side, not the front - these cases are meant to sit sideways. Their Core P products are basically flat boxes with the components mounted on them, with options for a "foot" attached at the bottom, laying flat, or a standard TV wall mount bracket on the back. This one just so happens to have a glass cage around the whole thing instead of just a front and top panel like pervious models (Core P3, P5 and P7). I've got a Core P5 hanging on my wall right next to me, it's a great open air chassis. This one looks pretty awesome, I may upgrade.

Airflow should be fine using the side and bottom for intakes.

It's also modular, so you can just leave off the panels you don't want (like the one in the pic that blocks all the airflow from those 4 fans). I have top and front glass for mine, but my rad was too thick so they wouldn't fit, and I just left them off.
