As far as I'm concerned, there are only 2 benefits to these kinds of coolers: A. Support for low-profile configurations B. They can reach over RAM slots to help keep them cool Seems like this cooler is rather tall and not very long, so it does neither. Why not just get a tower cooler? Am I missing something?

Most cases have fans situated on the top extracting heat, so it works well in that respect.

Depends on your case. I had the Noctua NH-C14S for a short while in my Fractal Define 7. And the best configuration was 2x front intake, 3x top exhaust and 1x rear intake.

This should fit in my ITX Ryzen 5600G mediacenter/server and the cooling should be good enough at very low rpm. I gave up mounting my old SCYTHE ZIPANG 2 from AM2, because it is a little over 1 cm higher then this Thermalright cooler.
