Max refresh on the Freesync model is 75hz. Max refresh on the Gsync model is 100hz when overclocked. I am a bit embarassed at how much I spent, but I bought one. I've been waitiing on this monitor for almost a year now, so I jumped on it when the finally came available for preorder on NCIX. Just don't ask how much I spent. :bang:
How much did you spend? :look: I too might grab one, but it will be a while till they become available here (same for Asus ROG ones).

I said DON'T ASK 🙂 In Canada, this display is selling for $1700CDN ($1300 US). So, with taxes and all the rest, you get the idea.

Hmmm this could be the monitor I've been waiting for. I currently have a Dell 3008 WFP and it has a slight scratched in the top center. So I've been wanting to replace it. But dam, when this model comes to my country (NZ) it'll be about at least 2100$:/

Another big benefit of 21:9 is movies. No more black bars as that is the aspect ratio of most movies (2.35:1 = 21:9). That said, I was all for 21:9 34" displays until I saw one in a shop. It looks much smaller than you would expect since its the same height as a 27" 1440p display. I would rather have a 32" 16:9 unit instead.

ASUS is releasing the PG348Q in Q1 2016, sames specs but much prettier I think. 🙂 I like the no-frame design of the Asus.

I actually own UltraWide screen and its awesome, full vision on horizon i wish it could be as big as this acer predator but I can`t have all do I ? edit. just looked at the price of it - its too much like 500$ for freesync/g-sync alone

This is what Iv been waiting for. Waiting for them to work out the bugs. Seems the first versions of this with the 1.0 firmware has lots of screen banding and other problems. 80% of the people that bought it (non gsync model) has sent them back... Gonna wait till around black friday or whenver they have em on sale and are 100% fixed.
