ASRock has confirmed the release date for the DeskMini X600, a compact barebone kit designed to support the Ryzen 8000G/7000 series. This announcement was made on May 10, 2024, by ASRock Incorporated, headquartered in Taiwan. The DeskMini X600 represents the latest addition to the DeskMini series, unveiled earlier at CES 2024. It is notable as the first Mini-STX model to facilitate the Socket AM5, accommodating the Ryzen 8000G/7000 series processors with a thermal design power (TDP) up to 65W.

Key specifications of the DeskMini X600 include dual DDR5-6400+ SO-DIMM memory slots supporting up to 96GB. For storage, it offers two 2.5-inch SATA drive slots and two M.2 slots, one supporting Blazing M.2 and the other Hyper M.2 interfaces. An additional M.2 2230 slot is available for wireless module expansion.

The device supports triple display output through one D-Sub, one HDMI, and one DisplayPort 1.4, enabling the use of three screens simultaneously. Networking capabilities are enhanced with a 2.5 Gigabit LAN powered by the Dragon RTL8125BG chipset. The domestic model of the DeskMini X600 also includes a CPU cooler compatible with the supported processors. The DeskMini X600 is set to go on sale in the domestic market starting May 24, 2024, with a launch price of approximately $210-240 USD (converted from 32,800 yen).
