It is able to accelerate the processing speed of consumer's computer. With more free time after work, people are also able to enjoy life and spend quality time with families and friends.
:heh:That made my day! Sorry for off-topic, really, but these kind of marketing sentences make me laugh. Probably this SSD will be a budget option, I don't know it's pricing but already there are quite a few low priced and well performing SSD's out there.

OS start-up saved 15s+. Firefox Start-up saved 10s+. Productivity applications load/games, work with large data sets... You can't even compare it to HDD, it is magnitude different world. For people who actually use computer for creative work/analysis, SSD is must. At home I have 2 in same PC. Would not want ever to go back to HDD for OS and productivity apps/some games. And I have moved from raid-0. (in game like PoE or any larger mmo, map change gives difference between 0.5s and 8~10s; in KF2 map loads like 15s from HDD and 0.5s from SSD) Having VM on HDD or SSD... But some people probably like to make coffee while their system is bottlenecked by slow HDD random read or when swap is getting used.

Ideally though you have enough RAM such that the swapfile is only minimally used. Having a low RAM system and a SSD wouldn't do the SSD any good with the constant writing, regardless of whether the computer is much faster now that those writes are occurring on the SSD. We weren't 'making fun' of SSD's, just the way it is advertised. There are more SSD brands and variations than there are mechanical hard drive brands and variations, it's hardly a revolutionary product nor do the stats make it stand out from the rest. It would be interesting to see what price it goes for, as there are some quite decent SSD's that are competitively priced.
Windows uses swap even if you have 80% of memory free, that includes windows 10. And it is still good idea to have swap on ssd. My 128gb vertex4 lost 4% of lifespan over course of 3 years being OS+swap drive. At time that drive will die due to r/w cycles, I'll already have one with 10 times higher capacity. And this old Vertex 4 will die in some other computer as I'll donate it long time before it becomes unusable. And anyone with only 8GB of ram who often runs into situations that require swapping is going to cut hours of waiting every week. To my knowledge, most of business laptops today have still only 8GB of ram, but some of them have SSD.

"Dimensions -40°C to 85°C" WTF?
