Would make a great HTPC plugged into a NAS for example. One thing that confuses me tho is why go to all the effort to make it so small when you have to plug it into a docking station 3 times its size. If I understood correctly you cant connect a keyboard/display when not docked so what can you do with it when not docked? Put it in your pocket and have people admire the bulge?

Exactly. It's to show off your wealth and 'cool new gadget'. No one's gonna haul a bag full of wires with monitor and I/O devices just to enjoy 'fantastic' performance when in use.

Agreed. I don't see them selling many...

This device is not as small as a cell phone because it needs a large docking device to work; thus they are full of cow dung. Secondly who needs any of these type of gimmick devices when todays flagship smartphones are more than capable of running business apps, games, etc and are actually pocket sized with phone capabilities! Who knows maybe I am just a nut case because I think all consoles are pure junk too and see no reason for anyone to purchase one when you can have a conventional desktop, laptop, etc computer if your into games.

I want a tablet that is capable off receiving over the air HD channels. and also has a holographic display to watch tv/browse the web/video chat and more. just hold the tablet in front of you at a angle and it pops up the display and you see your friends,talk to coworkers while on the go. can also be used for military. had dream about one that had this. too bad it was a short dream.

Bit of a shame tho cos it could be brilliant. Throw away the dock, add widi, mini hdmi and 1 usb port and their all set.

Probably could yeah. GPU is equivelant to a intel HD 4000. But still, this is bigger than really shown, it needs the docking port from what I see.

It's better than what there used to be, separate log in for the main page and the forum, separate posts under news articles and mods/admins having to manually make threads for news posts.

Please tell me you were not being serious? I have a Galaxy S4.. and while it's a beast of a smart phone. It is in NO way a replacement for an actual computer.

To be of real use it needs a video projector and a holographic keyboard (incorporated in it) to be of real use. Else is just a prototype whit no real use.

I think he meant it in a more simplistic way and he didn't say anything about replacement. E.g a phone can browse the web, read/sent emails, edit/write documents, listen to music, watch movies, play games, remote connect, some programming etc. I wont even mention the docking capabilities since it defeats the purpose of "mobile" phone vs the pc. 😉
