I have seen some places where you can drive an old F1 car for a few laps on some circuit for like 3 000€. So if you really want to try it, it's kinda possible for mortals like us.

Was thinking about the lotus F1 "mini" car what was the name? Can't remember the name, but it was marketed at "consumer" users but was not street ready due regulations, I think that's the closest to drive an F1 car without being one of the 10 dirty money bags in the world. Or a sim... always a sim is the other option. Edit: Lotus T125 (Exos T125) ... never mind was a failed project, was "just" 400+ USD and now is on hands of a new zelander company for 650K around... so nevermind, I remembered it bein a little more affordable. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotus_T125
