That is a Monster!

As far as i know most power outlets offer a maximum of 1500W. So while this PSU might support 2000W i dont think you may fully use it.

I use outlets that support 10A / 16A at 220V.

Lol another nuclear power plant. 🙂

We got 6, 10, 16 and 20 at 230V so up to 4600W 😀

Mine are 3750W. Even if your power outlets rating is 1.5kW, you can use more, but it might overheat or start a fire, it's safety thing. You shouldn't use more than 1.5kW from your power outlet. If you referring to your home max power output, it should be at least 2kW. Else even your water heater would cut off the power.

Lets hope they have included long enough cables with this PSU. My previous SF had to be returned because the 12v 8pins were to short and couldn't reach to the top of my mobo using the 900d.

I wonder what's the purpose of such PSU. It looks like way too much even for 4x SLI/CF overclocked rigs.

Its exactly for 4 way, but 4 way under LN2 and lots of voltage for extreme Overclocks! 😉

God.. this thing is powerful! for me the funny fact are the 18 SATA connectors, and 2 floppys.

4 titans Z in sli makes a total of 8 cards, plus a nice cpu oc to 5 ghz, how much power would that use ?

To clear some basic electric knowledge up here, guys. Standard 120V household breaker is 15A = 1800W at 120v. -Maximum sustained load beyond 3 hours on a 15A breaker is 12A or it can overheat. -Only outlets specifically built for higher amperage are 20A, you will not find random 20A household outlets. Standard 240V UK Circuit is rated at 13A which has far more capacity than we get in America. The most important part....this power supply is 220V ONLY, as you might deduce, this is probably because it would require more current than a 110/120V breaker can supply at full capacity, PSU efficiency is also measurably higher at 220V.

I wonder what the point is of such PSUs, now CPUs and GPUs get lower TDP.

yeah but if tri or quad and under sub zero and voltage you may need two depending on the cards. even 3 290x's on air and my 4960x dice shut my pcp&cooling 1500 watter down I needed to add a 1200watter or I had to leave the cards clocked very low(1050)1150+was ok after the other psu was added 🤓

How do you iron your clothes or use vacuum cleaner?
hahahahahahha

Wow, can you say nuclear powerplant? What kind of rig would need 2000W? I bought a tiny Super Flower Leadex Gold 650W just the other day and it's more than enough for my rig.

I think this is in response to AMD's 300+ watt 390x 🙂

Super Flower, HAH, more like superfluous

This is very much for the Quad-Xfire-290X-Further-overclocked-5960X-type-of-build. Yes, that was one, very long, hyphenated word :P
