One's mouse needs a disco floor to dance on...Staying alive... All that's missing now is a disco ball/mic hybrid

I was looking at these for using at night in the dark but as much as i'm into my led's and lighting I think it's a little OTT to be honest, still if I got one for free i'd probably use it, the cheapest one I found online is the Thermaltake Draconem and then there's the Razer Firefly, but yeah I can't bring myself to spend £50 on a mousepad.

this "led" gimmick getting ridiculous first the most important things, the mouse-pad material is micro cloth (even though they have hard polymer side) which is wearing soon or later, hope they make it replace-able when it wearing down they should pick glass (like their old icemat mousepad) rather than micro cloth second a mousepad adding extra cable is kinda ackward it not even possible as light source in the dark either but hey nothing wrong in trying making new product, even bet it wont sell good except they slash price down to $20-ish, then people might consider getting it

It's pretty. But is it comfortable to use and will it last? I am currently using a "puzzle pad" mouse pad and wrist rest from a company called "Silicon Sports" that I bought about 25 years ago... I guess they went out of business because their product was too good.. 25 years and still functioning.
