there are no worse keyboards than steelseries, recently bought apex 300 keyboard and the damn thing types double anything thats not WASD 12345, since those are "anti ghosting" keys and all other keys are "pro ghosting" as it seems, if you type fast and actually type on a keyboard not only play FPS (even for that, you need E and Q to be anti ghosting also) you will be frustrated with their gear... and on RMA they told me that they can only guarantee that WASD 12345 would not double type, rest of the keyboard is fair game, anno 2016, price 75E...
Probably your faulty keyboard. Have 6gv2 for 5 years not a single issue. Same goes for Sensei mouse for 4 years.

Also had my 6gv2 for many years, while I have worn the shift key down on plenty of other keyboards within months the 6gv2 ones just kept working. Switched to Corsair a year or two ago since I wanted some backlights, the 6gv2 still goes strong on my nephews rig.

You do realize that you have to set repeat speed and repeat delay down to match any new KB. If you do have this problem while typing then you just have to turn delay up a touch in Windows. Problem solved.

Right, so one faulty keyboard or strange windows settings = "No keyboards worse than steelseries". :3eyes: Guess you haven't seen some chinese 2$ keyboards... In any case, typing this message from my 4yr old 6GV2, still works flawlessly like day 1
