Shadow of Mordor and Alien:Isolation among the top three, not that surprising. Though I'm pleasently surprised the indie (is it?) Life is Feudal among the top ten. And, Civilization: Beyond Earth... why this pre-ordering sells so well is beyond me...

Iam surprised to see the rehashed reskinned version of borderlands 2 in there, let alone at 2nd place...But Iam not surprised with aliens isolation one bit, that game is brilliant, but I don't think shadow of mordor deserves the top spot...but then again maybe it does, it's just one of those games for the masses, like any batman or assassins creed game.

C'mon dude, the pre sequel is just another cashgrab from gearbox, little to no inovation, same old boring cheesy storyline, uninteresting griding gunplay and gameplay, just buy borderlands 2 goty for 9.99 and you'll have more fun playing that than this turd.
But one thing we can agree on is the preorder obsession, I never ever in my entire life did that, what do you get for paying money in front of the release? nothing ! You even put yourself in more risk than usual when the game turns out to be horrible, just like it was with watch dogs for example.
Oh and if you're inderested go and have a read the forum thread about season passes and preorder here spectatorx
I already can see a lot of differences between borderlands 2 and borderlands the pre-sequel and calling it reskin is very much unfair. Do you call borderlands 2 reskin of borderlands 1?
I do not have to buy goty edition, i already own goty editions of borderlands 1 and 2 and i played them both, awesome games.
About season pass... season pass for borderlands 2 was a huge lie. The point of season passes in other games is to make customer pay once to get access to all dlcs for the game, season pass for borderlands 2 gave access only to 4 dlcs out of... many dlcs.

Borderlands 1 and 2 are not that much different, personally i call borderlands 2 improved borderlands 1.
Top 3 differences? New, other classes than in previous 2 games, changed gravity, new elemental effects, few combat-related mechanics are heavily changed. I can say there is more differences between borderlands the pre-sequel and borderlands 2 than between borderlands 1 and borderlands 2.

I heard they are going to be making a documentary, PixelShaderLands - how to make a franchise out of a pixel shading technique.

<- Ignoring borderlands since 2009.

I have 39 hours on borderlands 1 and 84 hours on borderlands 2 and my conclusion is that the two games are all wallpaper and no substance. Wouldn´t call them bad games but everything about it is painfully mediocre and boring. Kinda like a Michael Bay movie.

IGN Scored Alien Isolation 5.9 out of 10... the reason for the low score being only that the Alien was "unpredictable".
lol..
Stay classy IGN

IGN are bottom of the ladder when it comes to credibility in games journalism (more like blogging), the worst of a bad bunch in my opinion. It's become pretty clear that their scores have little to do with the reviews and are neither subjective or without heavy bias. Take for example the guy who reviewed Alien: Isolation for IGN, he stated the game was a massive step up above Colonial Marines, yet the score was barely any higher.

Is there even one site, blog, or magazin for that matter that's "objective", even in the widest sense of the word? I seem to have a hard time to find any such source of information regarding games.
