Four honour, you know because For Honour is in the charts 4 times... ...I'll let myself out.

I have no clue what people find at this game 'For Honor', the beta was a huge mess and i'm used to deal with shaky piece of game, i'm a Star Citizen PTU tester, i know what i'm talking about lol. But this beta was a big disappointment for me, crashed to desktop 3 times. Aesthetic underwhelming. It felt like playing Paragon with a sword on medium graphics.

Another half finished/crippled game before it even started, much what you expect from AAA titles. No dedicated servers/spammy unblockables/troll throws/bad parry system/Ubi auth servers+p2p lag/small limited player modes. No ranged characters or siege weapons, kindof small maps/rotation. Beta was just a glimpse of wasted potential. 😛c1:

I worked at Ubisoft Montreal (services, not on the games). You have to put into context that this game is a new IP, meaning that even though it's a Ubisoft game, it's an unproven franchise so they won't put their best/seniorest people on it. Also this is one of the last game to be on the 2 year production cycle, meaning that they don't get an extra year for extensive testing/polishing. That's why you shouldn't expect beta test stuff/release day stuff to work perfectly. I find that I enjoy games more if I buy/play them after the game's been patched post release (IE: No Man's Sky) All that being said, I'm hearing a lot of good things on the web from people playing it. The game mechanics seem nice/unique in recent memory.

The game mechanics are truly unique and it plays well indeed. It's just not my cup of tea. The beta had also stability issue, and i did not expect crash to desktop from this product. What do you mean by "it's one of the last game on 2 year dev. cycles" is there gonna be even shorter dev cycle from now on, or longer? Really curious about this 😛
