I have steam installed on a crappy Atom based quad core tablet that runs windows 10 so I can stream my games from my PC. I actually got the take the survey option on it the other day. I declined because I felt it wasn't proper to include it since I don't game directly on it.

I'd be in the AMD list, if it wasn't for paper launch.

About core, yes there is an old base of PC...
But don't forget that Intel give i3 4 core and more since not so long and that many "mobile" i5 that you found in many budget PC are also 2 cores.
On AMD side also the main Ryzen sale are APU with 4c and the regular one with 4 cores... Not everyone have enough money to get more and the success of the 1200AF and the 3200G on main market is a good indicator of that point.
Last point, you can't imagine how fine are a dual or quad core with most games that requiere more core at a minimum... You might be surprised (i used on my second PC a Pentium 3258 anniversary, Athlon 200G and 1200AF).

"shows AMD utilizing ground to Intel fast". I think this sentece is not written correctly, shouldn´t be something like "AMD is fast gaining ground on Intel" or something like this?
This sentece seems worded in such a strange way...

They would have had one more 5800X owner if their chips could be bought.
They missed a trick not having product in the shops, I was forced to purchase an Intel 10700K.
Not that I'm unhappy, its great. But I would have got the 5800X if it was possible.
Now they are out of the running for 5 years or so.

I figured 4 core cpus would still be the biggest, but it's surprising how much less there are of running 6 cores still.
