Steam survey is not acurate.

Undying:

Steam survey is not acurate.
True, but considering steam user group is relatively stable sample population for its own base, a more than 50% relative increase for AMD in 18 months is strong progress. Will be good to see this again in 1 year, hopefully similar trend for GPU's. Will also see by then if Intel's dedicated GPU has an impact in this area too.

I have steam installed on a crappy Atom based quad core tablet that runs windows 10 so I can stream my games from my PC. I actually got the take the survey option on it the other day. I declined because I felt it wasn't proper to include it since I don't game directly on it.

I don't think that's what they ask you. They can grab the hardware info from anything stream is installed on.

I'd be in the AMD list, if it wasn't for paper launch.

About core, yes there is an old base of PC... But don't forget that Intel give i3 4 core and more since not so long and that many "mobile" i5 that you found in many budget PC are also 2 cores. On AMD side also the main Ryzen sale are APU with 4c and the regular one with 4 cores... Not everyone have enough money to get more and the success of the 1200AF and the 3200G on main market is a good indicator of that point. Last point, you can't imagine how fine are a dual or quad core with most games that requiere more core at a minimum... You might be surprised (i used on my second PC a Pentium 3258 anniversary, Athlon 200G and 1200AF).

"shows AMD utilizing ground to Intel fast". I think this sentece is not written correctly, shouldn´t be something like "AMD is fast gaining ground on Intel" or something like this? This sentece seems worded in such a strange way...

It's a prompt on the 1st of every month if you're deemed worthy.

right but if I had taken it it would have given intel another point. It barely has a GPU at all given the crappieness of the Atom GPU and obviously the CPU gives Intel another point.

They would have had one more 5800X owner if their chips could be bought. They missed a trick not having product in the shops, I was forced to purchase an Intel 10700K. Not that I'm unhappy, its great. But I would have got the 5800X if it was possible. Now they are out of the running for 5 years or so.

You should see how bad the grammar is in the "Advertorials" they run for cheapo "fell off a truck" Windows keys.

I figured 4 core cpus would still be the biggest, but it's surprising how much less there are of running 6 cores still.

4c below 100 Euro including tax whatever the brand Intel 6 core lowest price 179,95 Euro (9400F or 10400F) AMD 6 core lowest price 169,95 Euro (3500X the 6c/6t or the 2600X that left in stock) It is a good argument to still get 4c CPU

Similar kinds of oddly phrased or worded English appears here all the time (like in reviews), lots of phrases don't work translated directly, or work in one language but not English - I don't think English is his native language.
