nope it's not pre rendered/photoshoped (wich is good 🙂 ) but the gameplay is right now a bit weak... but there is still road until release (wich is good too 🙂 ).
the good news is that it come from EA they can release patch after release, people are used now 🙂

This game isn't aimed to be a PC game. It's a console port, that's why they screw over everything good in how multiplayer shooters are supposed to work on the PC.

Vader is dead.
Let him rest in peace FFS and give us a game that has the new characters in it, the ones that are still alive...still alive...the ones from the new film(s).
Face facts, over the years every time a new company (and DICE is no different) gets the chance to make a Star Wars game, they always have one of three things in it:
(1) Vader
(2) The Death Star
(3) A combination of the above, typically involving flying down the Death Star trench to hit an exhaust port only two metres wide.
Either they lack the ability to show us something which is original, or they lack the skills to show us something original, or (and this is a possibility) they are told to make a game around certain themes. The thing is, after watching the videos with the devs and reading the comments from them - it appears that DICE was the instigator of this arrangement...so...they will pay for their lack of vision.

This game may still be acceptable. SW universe has a lot of potential, and BF games tend to be good.
But the removal of dedicated servers, paired with my decision to stop preordering games will mean that I'd wait for it to be available, and build some knowledge before purchase. And that's what I'd recommend.

i will wait for the reviews but the pc version you will probably need EA origin if theres no steam version i get it on ps4

Erm, how can it have dedicated servers if the entire system runs on matchmaking, thats like getting people to buy servers that EA control lol

They seem to be deliberately talking around specifically saying there will be no dedicated severs, but there will clearly be no dedicated servers.

They match you with your friends and put you all on a server with other people.
p2p with 40 people + bots would be ****ing hilarious.
p.s I've played this game multiple times the system works well but I'd still like to see a server browser on pc.

Yeah I think CS:GO has the best setup. Decent MM system if you want it -- Browsers if you want to build a community/LAN/Etc.

Dedicated matchmaking servers is not the same as dedicated admined servers mate. Blop3 will have dedicated (matchmaking) servers and aimbotters a plenty just like this.
They stated controlled matchmaking only where the game will "try" to keep you with your friends.
Game wont last long on PC.

And having matchmaking dedicated servers is not the same as saying "battlefront won't have dedicated servers" implying it runs on a p2p system which for me and many others would = a straight up no buy.

Sorry, but today 40 human players plus stupid bots is pretty stupid on pc, and only helps the bad players and console players (easier targets...). The last time I enjoyed playing against bots was back in the days of BF 1942. The first one, over 10 years ago.
And, as you are regarding the match making with friends... that's supposed to work in BF4 too. But it doesn't. Technically you 'squad up' with your friends in battlelog, and then you join buy an invite. You know what? It worked for the first week of BF4, than it never went back to actually pull you in the same team or squad. If that's what they hail as the good thing about random joining, they can keep this crappy 'matchmaking' mechanisms.
These are all reasons enough for me to give the game a try in the open beta, and probably ignore it every day afterwards until it's in the bargain bin.

Oh well, I'm still excited about the game. I love the universe and I liked all of DICE's work so far. On these two things alone I'm willing to give the game a chance.
