Nice to see this new Ssmsung panel maker to the scene ~_^ But, still going to wait for a better panel with DP1.3 & FreeSync + a chance to run naturally or OC'd at more than 60Hz... and No. 1 feature over almost any of that is some version of LightBoost so no more blurred images - So Much More important than G or FreeSync IMHO Some of the LG 4K OLED panels releasing later this year could be Very Interesting ^^ EDIT: Seems this years LG OLED models will still be Extremely expensive. Bring on the Cheap TN & IPS 4k Monitors!!! lol

And is there any FullHD 22~24" monitor that supports freesync?

28" monitor is a TN panel. 23.5" monitor is too small. Nope and nope.

Just about all monitors have not had VGA inputs for many years. It's ancient (1980's), analogue and inferior in every way. Even DVI is very old now and most new monitors and high-end graphics cards no longer have it. IMO nothing should use DVI any more.

First, great price on your end Samsung $400 is not bad for 4K Freesync & Two, 23.5" 4K is great due of the high PPI. Samsung made this monitor for Windows 10 & not for Windows 8.1 due of the small text & icons. Windows 10 fix those issue now, that why Samsung is releasing it on Windows 10 Launch area.

no need, AMD gpU's support allready SST for 60hz 4K and previously was use MST ( multi stream ) for 60hz too. ( in addition Tiled display block are a standard made by AMD )

I got this from the manual (can't post links yet): Synchronization Horizontal Frequency 30 – 135 kHz (DisplayPort) 30 – 90 kHz (HDMI1) 30 – 135 kHz (HDMI2) Vertical Frequency 56 – 75 Hz (DisplayPort) 24 – 75 Hz (HDMI1/HDMI2) Resolution Optimum Resolution 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz (DisplayPort) 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz (HDMI1) 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz (HDMI2) Maximum Resolution 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz (DisplayPort) 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz (HDMI1) 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz (HDMI2) One question...this means that with Displayport you will only get "Adaptative Sync" between 56Hz and 60Hz? (At 4k@60Hz resolution). Or Vertical Sync has nothing to do with that? I would like to know the supported Free Sync range for this monitor. Thanks!

If you have a good monitor now, id wait untill O-Led Monitors come out instead. - Proper Blacks - DisplayPort 1.3 - Adaptive Sync By the time they do come out NVIDIA has most likely migrated to Adaptive Sync aswell, seeing it was proven G-Sync can work without a Module.
