Other then for absolute budget machines, it's hard to not recommend a SSD for the vast majority of users if the prices continue to drop as they have been.

Yeah Crucial M550 looks really cheap ~260€ or Samsung Evo 500gb for ~210€, I remember when 512gb was +500€ not so long ago.

Hell the 840 EVO 1TB is under $500 right now. Would love to pick one of those up for four bills.

What a waste of money. It's been proven that doing a Raid-0 on SSD drives barely gives any benefits.
