It looks good and I'm sure the sound will be amazing. The only thing that stands out is the fact that it looks like they were skimping on the inputs. Some more options in terms of input options would have been appreciated at this sound quality level.

A portable speaker with some not-entirely-friendly power connector? Was it that hard to go with some flavor of USB?

Like what? It's made for mobile phones, it would be pointless adding any other connectivity.

Some USB slot for music on a USB stick or USB charging for your phone on the go. Even a memory slot for if your phone runs out of battery power then you can just put the memory card straight into the speaker...?
