this is such a natural fit for SK Hynix it's not funny. realistically, this is the way to introduce a new line - an upgrade (to 670p) at a lower (or similar) price. the 2Tb is the best value and the doubling of the mtbf makes it more attractive to those who like smaller volumes (like me - i love to boot off of a small drive). and as nowadays it's hard to find a pcie 4.0 drive 500Gb or smaller - and when you do the price is almost the same as 1Tb - this makes that 2Tb very sexeh i like HH's recommendation for NAS and laptops, but let's add gamers to that mix too as most gamers don't run highly critical operations worthy of a Samsung or Crucial.

I got my Crucial P3 the day they hit store shelves. Unless you absolutely have to have a PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive, it's an excellent option.
