Yeah I feel ya, there's no way I'm paying even $30 for it. I got it off arr websites just to play it but I couldn't even stand it for more than 8 hours. That game is astonishingly boring.. Maybe I'd pay $10 for the multiplayer.

Not even half a year of support, how pathetic. I hope this doesn't become the new norm.

so when publishers breathe down the necks of devs who have no experience spearheading a game of their own, it turns out that cascading management failures at every tier result in meandering gimmicks (procedural planets, for instance) & highly questionable politically-fueled expenditure of manpower/dev hours (purposely making attractive real-life models into downright ugly character models, as one example of many) taking center stage instead of...uh, you know... ...focusing on crafting a series-worthy story, ironing out disruptive bugs, making sure the characters arent gurning horribly in every other scene, or even simple things that should never come up in a supposedly AAA title...like main characters arms not floating around on puppetstrings a la goldeneye on the n64 ill say it again - andromeda is mass effect going straight to dvd, & it deserved to tank for a plethora of reasons. when i saw the already not particularly impressive alpha footage side by side with the same exact scripted scene a year later...with downgraded graphical fidelity, massively flattened lighting quality, & tumblr haircuts?? i knew something was going wrong behind the scenes. ME isnt my style of game in general, but i personally liked that the trilogy enjoyed such a following, despite its shortcomings. i love science fiction & the notion of space exploration...i want games like this to succeed! however, this game took a wonderfully rich premise & hamstrung itself at every opportunity. its not that the devs were too ambitious or simply bit off more than they could chew - it was that they had no idea wat they were doing. another dev team had to step in to write the story...& finish coding the game. thats the capstone of this entire debacle. despite my bitching, im not at all pleased to see that a decent series had to go down in flames this way

I'm disappointed by this decision. Mass Effect Andromeda hasn't been my favorite in the series, but I have been enjoying the single player campaign, and I definitely would have appreciated additional content!

Still got this game unfinished... I also find this game boring. I was astonished how bad the game was, when i entered the character creation... Lame and cheap... It´s just, pathetic how bad it is. And the graphics ain´t that good either. Too bad, ME2 was great, ME3 was okayish, i was hoping alot more from this game.

And nothing of value was lost. I wonder how many years it will be until a new Mass Effect will be released.... and if it will be related to Andromeda in any way.

Not surprised, but disappointed anyway. I actually like the game but it's quite obvious to me the community didn't, and EA Bioware made a mess of the game overall. This announcement is literally them politely washing their hands of a perceived turkey, stopping spending any more money on it and moving on. From a business point of view a reasonable call. The poor thing about this is for those who enjoyed the game, they're being literally abandoned - and that is poor as far as customer support goes.

With each patch, you let us know we were heading in the right direction
So, they did nothing wrong, just gave community what they wanted. Nice attempt to shift the blame for failure onto community. This is not how I remember it. I remember that community constantly told them that series are heading wrong direction, provided suggestions and Bioware ignored most of the major complains completely. For example, when it came to Andromeda, community expected ugly character redesign, updating dialogs with more meaningful content, but Bioware ignored it and applied just a small bandage on an broken body pouring with the blood from multiple wounds. Of course small bandage did not helped and Bioware decided to put it down.
