So the good thing about Shuttles are that they have a custom ITX+ board that has 4 DIMM sockets. Friend has several for VMs with i7-4790/k. The bad things, you can see in the rear picture: the minuscule Power Supply fan and non-120 size CPU fan (custom heatsink/fan for you). If the 2 DIMM slots wont kill you, build your own for less noise. They are not super horribly loud, just not quiet like a 120mm CPU/PS fan options would be. They just keep re-using same first design because its cheaper to keep using same parts i think. And maybe for small offices, its fine. Anyway, Silverstone SX500-LG power supply for example and any decent CPU cooling solution with user replaceable 120mm fan.
