To drive such a resolution four HDMI cables are used
That says enough ๐Ÿ˜€

And to buy one you need to collect kidneys from dead people.

By the time 8k content is available, it will be obsolete, tech-wise, spec-wise..

I hope by the time 8k is mainstream, we'll have HDMI 3/4 that is capable of 16k 60Hz with a single cable ๐Ÿ™‚

Completely agree, I'm concerned that my 4K TV is going to be obsolete before we see any real volume of content for it.

It's too cheap to be good...

It looks more clear than real life.

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, its off to organ hunting we go... Seriously I would want this... Imagine RTS or top down action games on this. You literally see most of the world map.... and for photography editing... just wow...

But, i personally hope to see a 5120x2160, 4:4:4, 10bit color, 200hz monitor single tiled on SuperMHL. Which would take up 66.35Gbit/s. (5120x2160x30x200)
Exactly what I want lol. An ultrawide TV or Monitor with those specs. I downsample 5120x2160 to my ultrawide monitor.

tv's these days are like cameras. Everyone talks megapixels but they don't mean squat. I'll take a house full of old a*s pioneer kuro sets over something like this

That's why the first price is given in Yuan ...

Out of interest, would any current GPU actually be able to output a game to this? I know that only very old games would actually have anywhere near a playable frame rate, but can it actually be done?

If I wanted a screen that large I'd be looking at projectors over Tv's personally.

I thought the latest DP had support for 8k @60hz already

Imagine the cost of GPU that would be able to feed that not be slide show. which would probably still cost less then the tv hah
