Fun fact, any progress you make will be saved and is usable in the full version of the game, that means that any obtained trophies/achievements move along to the full game.
This is something I've never heard before from a demo. So top marks for them for doing this, that way when I buy the game at a ridiculous sale for a tenner I can just continue my progress.

Tried it last night and was pleasantly surprised. It ran at 4k 60fps with no dips on my system, so now i might end up buying the full game. Reminds me of the stone age, when we got demo disks with our favorite PC magazines. And could try the games before we bought them:D . . . . Just realized I'm old.:(

Indeed my friend, indeed... like I said, it's not popular to let people try games anymore, they want those 60$/€ and then only give you 60% of a game's contents from back in the day.

Steam does give the option on refund, if you want to "return" the game. But i find that 2hour limit retarded, as it starts to count from the launch of the game. (Once returned a game, it worked as it should) With todays tech and etc, it should be sort of easy to start the time counter from the gameplay itself, not from idling in menu. But, i do also miss the real demos, where you can try the game, and get a feel about the game. Oh those cd days. I still have few cd´s from Finnish mag, with includes demos and test programs... Edit: 14.6GB Demo... Geesh...

This is why I am thankful I have many drives and at least 350mb internet. I used to have 1GB fiber but I had to move where its twice as much for it, so I dont have it anymore. Took 8 mins to download the demo to my Steam SSD. https://i.imgur.com/jOFWdKBh.png I am just glad there is a demo of it. Its a game I will buy anyways, but I love trying games before I buy them. We should not have to resort to piracy demos TBH.

lol sure after the game was cracked... they are desperate.... BTW game currently has an annoying bug and the developers dont give half a fuck about fixing it - when walking between small areas the sound suddenly stops/cuts out...

If the game had not been "reversed engineered"....i dont think the demo being present right now. It's a shame a game has to badly tank in order for a demo to be a thing. Feels like that one last thing before they give up on the product after all the massive discounts since week 1.

For what it's worth, the very beginning is by far the most polished and varied part of the game. After the opening I was thinking it could be GOTY material. The middle 70% of the game suffers from pacing issues and unfulfilled potential. Great graphics and sound, though.

For me the is easily top 3 games of the year, but Id say its the best Ive played in 2018. I hope it sells well. But from what Ive read, it doesnt. Absolutely no idea why? Its so good, I enjoyed every moment of it. And just hoped it will never stop. "Come to Lara" - she said it only once in a whole game, when I picked up some sh1t, it sounded so dirty! DAMN! LOL! And yes, I play this from 1st 1996 part. And I also remember those demos... indeed we are getting old my friends 🙂 Enjoy this game, its worth it.
