Dammit why did they do this so far after launch. Would have preferred the black one when I bought a set. :bonk:

Are you going to review them? Maybe? And perhaps even compare against Feenix Aria? Hm?

I don't think the Aria's are out yet? I have PC350SE's for gaming and they sound like a slightly more bass heavy 595 (I guess because they literally are 595's with a closed design). I love them. The mic is excellent, the soundstage is excellent, sennheiser's sound signature naturally emphasizes footsteps and gunshots in games like CSGO. They are also extremely durable, they get caught in my chair all the time and take a plunge to the floor. Still work great though.

I guess it will be Zero gaming at that price. 😀

From what I read on the previous versions, the bass/explosions are quite weak on the G4ME Zero. In fact the G4ME One sound was far better. But no where near worth the cost of these cans.

It's the opposite. The closed headphones (Zero) have stronger/better bass. The open headphones (one) leak sound and have weaker bass. Neither one is better, it's a matter of preference. I also think they are well worth the money considering they are audiophile headphones with a microphone attached. They use the same driver as the 598's here: http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-Headphones-Burl-Wood-Accents/dp/B0042A8CW2

I'll stick with my Sennheiser PC 360 gaming headphones for now. Still love the sound and comfort of the open design for long gaming sessions, well worth the money IMHO.

I have the Sennheiser PC350's. Even with a good amp they suck at bass (very weak). This was a big surprise with all the hype about how good Sennheiser is on the higher end. Due to changes in my work situation I am now using a pair of Denon AH-D7100's and a ModMic. With the Denon's, I can hear the gravel crunching under the tires of vehicles on dirt roads as if I was actually there! And all sounds are balanced quite well.

For that price imo you're better of buying one of their Hi-Fi sets from the non gaming line and buy a cheap seperate mic. You'll end up with better soundquality.

I would be tempted if it was under 200 euros... since I'm looking for a headset for months now, but at this price, I'll pass.

I thought the same thing, but the problem is sound stage. The better sen's may have better sound quality, if you have the high end dac/amp to even bring that quality out, but they don't have the awesome sound stage that these have. I have Beyer DT880's and Sen HD650, the "one" version beats both of these easily in terms of sound stage. Sound quality is very good too, they're also quite revealing which is definitely a plus for gaming.

The 598 is $220 on amazon, the 350SE which is the same thing as the 598 + Mic + closed is $245. The Mic is also a ton better then like the Zalman clip on or the Antmod Modmic.

Yeah, I mean a lot of these "Game optimized" headphones just have a EQ bump in the upper midrange to bring out footsteps and weaponfire. Sennheiser's 38mm driver just have a natural step there, it sounds significantly better. And you can use them to listen to music/movies where as like Sibera v2's and even the elites sound like crap.

I was quite sure Aria has been out for quite a while, the laptop is what's not out. I also have PC350, but not SE. I've had the headset for quite a while and I like the clarity of the sound even though the bass performance is certainly the weakest feature of the headphones. As for durability, I'm surprised it's still working considering the things I've done with it.
