"...but limits it to 2077 units sold..." Who's the smartass in Seagate responsible for decision to release these so late? They should put this on sale at least month-two-three before the game was released to the public, to use all the hype and they would be selling these like a hotcakes. Now months after the game has been released and all the following drama about CP2077, all the bugs and memes.... Guess 2077 units for sale is an optimistic number, they should consider themselfs lucky if they sell that many lol edit They should be selling these as a part of the CP2077 bundle offer, slightly discount on the SSD and many game fans will buy it witout thinking twice. Missed opportunity, now these are going to be just a fancy glowing addon in some chia farming rig.

Perhaps they thought 2077 was a bit too long to wait lol

Imagine thinking Cyberpunk is still relevant in June 2021.

The game isn't like that anymore. And just as an exemple AC Odyssey (3 month with essencial artefact under the ground) and AC valhalla from Ubisoft, Witcher 3 from the same editor etc have heavy bugS at launch. The only difference is the comm manager 🙂 There is only 2077... It would be great to transform a Cyberpunk ETH farm in CHIA farm keeping the theme... ((ok maybe it is trolling a bit lol))

I don't think so. CDPR have sold ~14 million copies of Cyberpunk 2077. The dislike/like ratio now is 50/50. So people who enjoyed the game would be ~ 7 million (if not more). And then there are those who just enjoy Cyberpunk theme... I think SSDs will be sold out the moment the sales will open.

As if it didn't have enough problems to begin with, it looks like it requires its own RGB header LOL...

jk, 2077 is ridiculously small number od those SSD, yeah they've gonna sell those sooner or later, but... But to put the one into desktop PC which is not custom build to follow CP2077 theme... it doesn't make much sense to me. Maybe it'll look cool for some kid who owns a gaming PC and can't get enough of of colours and RGB inside case but when I'm trying to imagine one of these SSDs into any of our gaming PCs at home... no, just no, it's gonna stick out like a yellow painted d!ck on a nude beach 😀 Still thinking Seagate missed the opportunity, they've should launch this CP2077 themed SSD way way earlier to cash in on hype game has created way earlier before it got released.
