The culmination of the PRIME Series is the result of Sea Sonic's close collaboration with graphics card manufacturers during the development phase.
Does that mean they tried to tackle power delivery related coil whine?

for coil whine, while mostly people get it from GPU but it can from any device in the system i for instance, have coil whine with hdd/ssd the load on the device cause psu whining... and again not all the time, there is time where the PSU completely silent no matter what load... i am guessing the coil whine also related to the power source from electric company well i am not electric engineering, so i cant be sure what causing it

what psu do you have? no UPS ? they filter noise and since the outgoing signal is not fluctuating as much (as without one), i recommend running one for most electronics that cost more than 100$. even a small one that can only run the pc for a few min on battery backup will do. im using one for stuff like chargers/modem/router, one for tv/dvr stuff and av-amp is the next one..

In the past I have this problem with other PC, now I don't and I have a GTX970, I use on old UPS from Mustek (1000VA Offline) and a relatively old PSU, PC Power and Cooling EPS 610.
