AMD is counting that there is alot of users with now aging cards looking to upgrade, just like you and me. Can you afford Vega chip at 500$? rx470 would be a huge upgrade from your 7850 at very good price.

I am looking a card for my 4k monitor.Right noy my choice is 1080 or titan X because no other card is in AMD right now.And that is why Nvidia is is leeching us right not.
