i am very curious to see how the aircooled temps compare to the AIO temps.

I would have thought that looking at Tonga, where Sapphire have an ITX version of the card, that we would have seen comparable size cooling solution or even to that of the regular 285/380, I hope this is just the top end cooling solution card that sapphire offer and there there will be a more manageable sized card for the respective price point of the Fury. This card is what'll get lots of sales imo, but if this is what the typical fansink design will have to be, not many people will like the card (thinking of heat dumped inside a system for example, will require good ventilated chassis). There is the nano too though, I wonder where that card will sit in the tiers, will it be 380, 390x, nano, fury, fury x? Or will it be 380, nano etc?

It will be below the Fury or equal to it. Unless they further cut it down from the Fury.

I like how everyone is thinking "it's so huge" when it's the same Tri-X cooler that is on the 290/390. Just the size of the PCB makes it seem like it's big.

Why is the cooler so big though?

Because it's probably a 250w card, which can't be cooled by a smaller setup.

I am just guessing they were too lazy to make a new one for the fury when they had working 3 fan coolers why not use the old ones 😀 But for sure it probably is 250w too.

Color What is up with this yellow color scheme of Sapphire? It's really turning me away from them. What ever happened to the all black or black blue scheme????:stewpid:

I've never noticed the fins at the end of a heatsink like that really heating up even when a card is practically on fire. I would bet it would have near the same thermal results with a heatsink that matched the card length.
