Thank god for CPC. It doesn't matter whether a cat is black or white, as long as it catches mice. -- Deng Xiaoping

I might not agree with all of the things China does, but not many countries could have got such a swift change in Samsung policy. Nvidia and Intel next please.

NOTHING is more effective than a dictatorship announcing an investigation on price fixing: https://www.techpowerup.com/240042/china-regulator-to-look-into-possible-dram-nand-price-fixing-by-manufacturers Low production/high demand excuses vanish...FAST.
This news are three months old and nothing has been done after announcing the possible price fixing investigation. Moreover Samsung now invest 7 billion in NAND production which they have plenty of supply, cos even a 60.000 wafers lost didn't affect supply lines and didn't shake a price anyhow. Yet they don't increase RAM production since they revenue would be lower if they did.

Really? Then why:

Samsung like to spend money for no reason? A simple announce of investigation by China Gov is quite more efficient (and FAST) than any Western democracies leading with big corps lawyers armies in anti trust suits. LOL
