Don't we have enough cameras on 'backsides'? 😛 IMG removed after complaints.

I wonder if the four cameras are anywhere near as good as a real camera for say 100$ less than this smartphone. And I might be living behind the moon since I don't know who's behind that is. I know Drake though, but I know it from this more than himself:

Frankly I am relieved that you don't know that is Kim Kardashian's azz. 🙂 There's hope for the world yet.

I guessed it was her, but I wouldn't know or care... I'm just amazed that this is the behind that's so fabled... I guess there is some hope, but it diminishes daily... means I could probably do with less than 4 cameras on the back of my smartphone. But now I see why they need wide angle for that format, high resolution to grab every detail of her cellulite so you can sell it to the rainbow press, one to zoom in if the walled comunity keeps you at bay, and one for getting really close (before you run away quickly again). What people do just for a bit of fame, what ends up on the TV... back in the day people would have called her fat and around here, having the behind of a post man's horse.

Only 4? Make it at least 8 or 10 and then we can talk... I know the phone market is getting saturated but this is ridiculous...

the A9 should be a hot seller. the S9...while it's technically wonderful, it's too freaking slippery...and i wouldn't want to fumble anything that expensive with or without a case. right now i have the LG V20 (which i love) but it's getting updated with the LG V40... which also has the multiple cameras on both sides...but interestingly enough they're different focal lengths and can combine all of the images into a single one with or without bokeh and can give you a panorama selfie without fiddling around. but i'm buying that phone for the audio, not the camera. the LG V series are the only audiophile phones for sale outside of Japan (Onkyo phone).

pff...a fisheye front lens for a selfie and a regular lens-cam and 2 other variation of lenses for selfies, it would be a world hit with idiots. And there are many, starting with ones that would pay over 700$ for a phone. I don't mean to offend anyone, but if you feel offended, you are welcome.

You know, If they made phone with 4 cameras on back side. I would like to have: -> 2x regular camera for composite high IQ photos similar to iPhone. -> 1x IR camera or close to IR which filters out otherwise visible frequencies captured by 2 regular cameras -> 1x UV camera or close to UV which filters out otherwise visible frequencies captured by 2 regular cameras Because if they want to sell gimmick, I want it to be interesting one which may even have some application. And I would not mind having possibility to add polarizing filter. It can be bigger circle around all cameras together, so all have same polarization. And then set of smaller ones around those 2 regular cameras, so one can have both reflection and refraction information at same time. And Big filter should be above smaller ones so all can be used at same time. If crazy enough, they can be integrated and rotated via internal mechanism. Gimmicks are gimmicks, but they can be really cool if someone is willing to take them through finish line. Spoiler: "And this guy has more cameras anyway 😀"

This is just an absurd reason to release a new and more expensive phone every year. Most people will not use all the cameras, ans most of the time the phone will ride the pocket. Ya, two cameras made sense if you put different lenses on them. But this is just marketing gimmicks.

From the company's viewpoint it's perfect!! They will sell millions of these. They are in business to make money, and we as consumers are willing to pay. Pretty simple. Camera is interesting actually, but I plan to stick with my Pixel 2 for a good bit.

You know what would sell good? A smartphone with a decent battery. You know what would also sell good? Innovative features, not taking out things like the headphone jack, but maybe better quality audio speakers. Having a phone that if drops, the screen doesn't fucking chatter instantly. Honestly, the industry is out of ideas. Besides doubling what it already has, a smartphone can't get any different anytime soon.
