The included fingerprint scanner is a great idea! On phones it is not that often good, since dirt and grease will prevent you from using it over half the time. Double tap to wake and a pattern unlock is the best combo I'd say, but unfortunately many devices don't have that double tap feature, even Sony ditched it some time ago. Now a device like portable storage is a different case, since you don't need to access it frequently. Not having to type a password is nice usability improvement.
