They have a whole range of monitors coming whit that Quantum Dot and 125% sRGB Samsung monitor 2016 And good to see they skip and ignore G-Sync

I don't know...curve in non ultra-wide monitor seems useless. I used to own a Samsung 120hz gaming monitor back when 3D was still a thing. The color was excellent despite using TN panel. I hope they improve product quality this time since mine died a few weeks after warranty expired.

That photo looks like a commercial from the early '90s. :giggle2:

So is this monitor HDR compatible? I've seen all this talk about most of the current gen TV's not being compatible. Saw my first Sony TV ad 7 days ago saying that it was HDR compatible.

same the glossy panel is still the best, i had the S23A700D. but why FHD on 27??? FHD is so 2010, QHD is the minimum for today standard, at least by my opinion, we stuck on FHD for way too long.

TV's use QD several years already. So it look like they late with Quantum Dots for monitors IMO. But better latter than to-late? Anyway Its VA panael type. So contrast ratio should be good, as well as blacks. Dark scenes in games should look nice. Much better than any IPS-based one, thats for sure. I'm not big fan curved screens. But for VA monitor panels, its good solution. And good luck with samsung quality :bugeye: hehe

I'm still waiting for their Ultra-Wide CF791 model. It looks like the monitor I've been waiting for with it's VA-QDLED, 3440x1440 resolution, 100hz refresh-rate. If only it had G-Sync... but I'll settle for great black levels and colors over g-sync. https://www.cnet.com/products/samsung-cf791/preview/

then why not use SUHD QD TV as PC monitor ? you should find the answer from the difference / lacking on tv as monitor, why there still limited monitor on high resolution
