How much mullah will it cost? The most important factor, the cost!

Huh, it does not have one of those odd resolutions one would expect from a monitor like this. That would be good for compatibility with older titles (and even a lot of modern ones)! Still, it's going to most likely be quite pricey.

I have the first generation of these monitors, Samsung c27hg70, and it cost me around £500 at the time of purchase.

These are still VA though, right? Samsung usually hides any display-related information very well but what little information I've been able to glean from Google implies that's the case.

Man I see that 49" 240hz 5120x1440 just a lookin at me in my eye balls.....!.! Any HDR specifications on these bad boys. Made the mistake buying a monitor just before the HDR kick off on monitors. This could be the next one for me. Loving my 3440x1440 ATM, but would like this 49" as my main and put my 3440 up above it. Still keep my portrait 120hz 1080 on the side of course. Any chance we will get a review of the big one @Hilbert Hagedoorn??

Samsung isnt hiding anything with these, the spec sheet is available at their website for about a month already.

That 1000r curvature looks so much better than 1800.

absolutely no point to making a 16:9 panel curved.

Is that some downloadable sheet then? I've looked at three different Samsung sites so far but while all of them prominently display "QLED" I can't find any reference to the display technology anywhere. That's my general experience with Samsung though, with the understanding that they really only make VA displays, which is why I'm asking if anyone has any different information. So if you have a link to a Samsung site that confirms the display technology, whether it's the suspected VA or IPS or TN, I'd appreciate that.

These screens are screaming quality i might get the 32 inch 1440p one.
https://forums.guru3d.com/data/avatars/m/66/66219.jpg
32 inches at 1440p and no 34 or 38 inch ultrawide, who on earth wants a 49 inch ultrawide for their desktop computer? I thought they are supposed to know what people want, lol. Would it kill them to put g-sync modules in their displays? "g-sync compatible" is trash, no where near what you get from proper g-sync. Complaining aside, the other specs do look real nice... maybe we'l get there one day.

I suspect the reason why is because by making it proper g-sync certified, rather than compatible, they would have to have the Nvidia chip installed on the monitor which would increase the cost, passed down to the consumer. Would mean they'd be competing against monitors on a higher price bracket.

So its just a 27" 2,560×1,440 then? (same as my current Dell monitor).. except curved screen which I do not want.

Strongly disagree with the QD is better than OLED.
