i didnt get it why they make microSD card for surveillance? any surveillance camera using microSD as storage? those i know link to PC and record to hdd now 25x endurance, so basically it should last lifetime ? wonder if there anyone that ever weared out their microSD before replacing to bigger size i read again, and realize the write speed is only 30MB/s so slower write speed for much better endurance ? cmiiw Evo line-up write speed is 90MB/s

Quick example: Axis M5525. The microSD can be used to store recordings of movement, especially useful on unmanned places prone to sabotaging, such as free-flow toll equipment.

Dashcams make extensive use of microSD cards - for long trips the endurance cards will indeed ensure safely recorded video.

With the way camera buffer sizes keep increasing, high speed SD cards aren't that crucial anymore unless doing sportsphotography. This card seems reasonably priced and seems pretty decent for most photography. The big problem has always been CF/sd card failure. An increase in reliability is always welcome! (esp for those not using a 2 sdcard-slot camera)
