slyphnier:

based what i read seems those they tested for single connection, not multi/mass connection
Guess you didn't read the whole text then. "The demonstration leveraged capabilities driven by 5G, such as high throughput, low latency and massive connections"

@slyphnier most countries in europe wont cap data. i know ppl in germany suing providers for capping speed after certain amount. when the plan is unlimited, they cant do shit anymore without getting in trouble, even if its just them losing customers in large numbers when ppl change providers.

1 thing I like about Tokyo Olympic is that there lots of investment into infrastructure. Olympics might haste 5G implementation in Japan by a lot. Sad thing is, 4G is still mostly limited in japan. Mobile data plans here are 1,2,5,10,20 GB of data per month. Providers (AU, DoCoMo, Softbank, etc...) say it's so people have "equal" access to 4G without slow downs... Even with 4G you can watch 1080p@60fps twitch streams without issue, it's data capacity that will die within few hours... Hopefully 5G will make 4G unlimited here.
