It took this long for someone to officially release 2230 drives to retail customers, crazy. Up until now, all 2230 drives were only OEM ones being sold by resellers on Ebay or Amzn without official warranty and such.

wouldn't warranty be lost opening up and putting these in?

Are 4K etc speeds improved though?
If not, I dont see the benefit.
Hmm, I missed the image with results.
Thats unfortunate.

Basically if you replace your ssd and 8 months later the right trigger fails for no reason then your warrenty is fine, but going by thd few videos i have seen it is not that hard to upgrade the SSD, but that is here in the UK, and i am sure the EU is the same, have no idea about other countries and warrenty stickers.
I have thd 64gig version and a 256gig sd card, so i have no need to upgrade the SSD to be honest.

Thiiiiiiiis is sorta interesting. As far as I've seen and known, the larger an SSD and the more NAND chips it has the faster it will be. Generalizing, of course, and among similar components.
But this says that the 512GB version can do 920k (!) random 4k writes versus the 1TB 545k, yet 3700MB/s sequential versus the 1TB 4300MB/s.
Everything else seems in line. As capacity goes up, power usage and TBW go up. Am I misreading or maybe that is a typo?

Steam OS, works great, just drop the detail down, like the shadows, and it will run fine 99% of the time, of course if you enter aaTFO were other players turn it into disco indicing nightmare it can get somewhat laggy.
