First off, battle royale is never ever gonna encapsulate any kind of stalker feeling and second vostok games couldn't make a stalker-like game even if someone were to shove f*cking stalker 2 down their asses. Just look at survarium, fuck me they only put out trash.

Wow, that was pretty convincing and I already got psyched, but yes, it is certainly a fake. I so hope we will get STALKER 2 one day. Those all three were so good games, just absolutely wonderful experiences. One of the best there is really in their own genre.

If you want to enhance the creepy factor of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. you need to read the novel Roadside Picnic, watch the 1979 film Stalker, and then watch a bunch of documentaries about the Chernobyl disaster. There's also a novelization of the film, but I haven't been able to obtain an English translation personally. I know of one person who translated it for a college dissertation (under the title The Wish Machine), but I haven't been able to get them to release it. There are Swedish and French translations published, however. But Roadside Picnic is the original story. There exists a fairly new English translation by the late great Ursula K. Le Guin.

I watched the Stalker film in Russian, and its pretty damn long, and nothing really happens. Not something i would do again soon. Its not a bad film, just nothing much happens. Much prefer to spend a few days in the Stalker-verse 🙂 I'm still having fun with Lost Alpha and CoP with Misery 2.x Mod. Can't wait for a new one, but the official page on GSC states 2021 release date....

Totally agree, though I would say either "shoved down their throats" or "shoved up their asses", or even "shoved down their throat so far it came out of their asses", lol.
