Is it just me, or he really did turned off the SMT for r5 2600X?

TSAIK tweaked the chip to a max overclock of 5883MHz, that is on all six cores.
But again, 8700k was OCed to 7.3GHz on all cores. The LN2 numbers are funny to watch, but nothing relating to us mere consumers.

Can't you read?????? It's say's and shows ALL CORES! Both the R 2600X & R 2700X.

Stay tuned for the review(s) people.

Well, that is not a very impressive number. Some delided Intels with liquid cooling + liquid metal can already achieve stable 5.4 - 5.5GHz.

I guess it is how you look at it. If you are comparing to Intel then yeah its pretty bland. It is pretty impressive to get Ryzen up that high. That gloflo process they are using was never made for high frequencies and starts to eat power like mad as you push it.

Speaks more about difference in quality of lithography. At this moment in time, AMD has CPU design superior to intel. But intel still holds clock crown due to better lithography. Intel is well aware of this and since it has been announced that Zen2 may reach 5GHz too, I am pretty sure that intel's techs are working overtime on real innovation. We may see notable improvements in next 1~2 years on both sides.

Didn't the 1800X on LN also reach 5.8GHz? I'm not sure if that was all cores, but it seems the maximum OC potential of these chips aren't really a whole lot better than the first generation. But, note I said maximum potential - I'm aware the overall potential is improved, hence the XFR speeds already being higher than what most people can OC to on 1st-gen parts.

Indeed http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/ryzen-7-1800x-overclocked-to-5-8ghz-breaks-cinebench-r15-world-record-at-5-36ghz.html Still happy to see they have made improvements in other areas though.

And breaking NDA in the process. No reviews or benches of any kind are supposed to be released until the 19th

Not sure what the big deal is? I get 5.0ghz on air on an 8600

That's assuming AMD gave these CPUs are review samples. So, there's a good chance this person isn't breaking an NDA, seeing as he/she probably never got one. It isn't that unheard of for people to get their hands on hardware that isn't supposed to be on shelves yet. Doing a quick google search, TSAIK is just a hardware enthusiast.

Zen+ is not under NDA and been in retail for weeks already. That's a reason why they announced it much earlier of planned April 19.

That's just a bunch of nonsense right there. Zen+ is under NDA till its official release date of April 19th, 2018. The fact that some retailers are deciding to release early against AMDs release date doesn't change anything. There are ASPECTS, such as frequencies and etc. that are not NDA, since AMD has released that information. Anything OTHER then that information that AMD themselves have provided, such as reviews, overclockability, etc. is under NDA. Effectively, if what you're saying would actually be true: Then Guru3d, and most other review websites that are not shady and releasing "reviews" early, would have full reviews of these products out already, rather then waiting for the 19th.

If Guru3D received samples directly from AMD with NDA condition, then it's applies to Guru3D. Those who purchased it in retail did not sign anything. They are not under NDA. Neither retailers are, if they didn't sign anything. As it turned seller division made some mistakes this time. And as given review say - Ryzen is not under NDA, X470 is.
