Wow, I hope recommended specs mean 60fps @ 1440p! Pretty insane... I honestly wonder how many "consumers/regular people" are going to be able to run this.

Examples: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660Ti or AMD Radeon 260x or 7850
I think they meant 650ti or may be 270x here .

You'd think CryTek had learned to say something about ratios of cores-to-math'cos by now …

Why does 4k need a better CPU than recommended?

Don't they have other problems? :bugeye: Well when I build my new system, I'll consider this game for the looks, but with my current rig I wouldn't even bother trying to run that on acceptable iq.

I played this game on the Xbone when it came out - it was crap.

System requirements are perfectly fine These system requirements aren't that much different from Crysis 3. Crysis 3 did run great on a HD5870 1GB at 1080P. Cryengine 3 is the best game engine currently, everbody that's bitching about it has totally forgotten how much detail is pushed to the screen. Even today Crysis 3 on "low" settings looks better than most games...

An Intel dual core running four threads or a quad AMD running at roughly double the Xbone's octocore's clock...seems fair enough.

odd choice for a PC port - didn't the XBONE version flop??

Thats why its coming to PC, cash cow.

I suppose it's easy to port too, because the Cryengine basically should be easy to set up on a PC, no?

How many other third party xbone "exclusives" will come out on PC in the upcoming months. After the horrible port dead rising 3 and ryse I reckon there will be a few of them. Sunset overdrive anyone, what about quantum break? I wouldn't mind quantum break actually, I enjoyed every single remedy game to date and they did an awesome job on the pc port for alan wake too so I would be very happy if they would release the game on PC 🙂

GPU: DirectX 11 graphics card with 4 GB video RAM Examples: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780/ Titan or AMD Radeon 290x
Please direct me to where I might download this extra GB of video memory :P. I wonder if they'll fix it down the line and specify the 6GB 780.

it'll use more vram at 1080 with ultra textures, actually it'll prolly pass 3gb at 1080 with ultra textures. 2gb will make it playable is all.

i can see the uber textures used is all, you know where these uber vram textures are kept? in the vram.

They arent of noticable higher quality than crysis 3 though, and that game stayed within 2gb with highest quality textures.

aliens were ok, soldiers were too however for me it was the particle effects in c3 that stood out, imo ryse has much better looking textures, just my opinion is all.
