Who cares about 4K when it will undoubtibly be a console port. *cough* Watch Dogs *cough* 4K or rather UHD, because 4K is 4096x2160 (not 16:9) is just the support for a resolution, it's not like they are rewriting half their engine for it.

4k is 3840 × 2160, so it is 16:9

wow! A game using 4,096x4,096 textures? Oh, wait... /sarcasm off So, just regular 1K textures with a slider to LET people select the resolution their monitor is in upto 2160P. Jeebies, talk about squeezing the most boring piece of information to attempt to make the news and, lets be honest here; it's hardly remarkable is it?

No it is not:
4K has become the common consumer friendly name for ultra high definition television (UHDTV) but technically it is not 4K. Consumer 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 (at a 16:9, or 1.78:1 aspect ratio) differs from the industry standard of 4096 x 2160 (at a 1.9:1 aspect ratio).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4K_resolution The correct term is UHD, not 4K. I know, not a big deal, but I was not wrong to point it out.

I heard this was all style and no substance anyway?

UHD is meant to be the industry standard for 3840x2160p screens, however I think you will find many of the manufacturers refer to their screens as 4K for marketing purposes despite them not being the cinema standard of 4096x2160, which is where 2K, 4K, 5K etc, originated. Given that in the consumer space the only products I'm aware of which have the cinema standard resolution are the 4K Sony Projectors, I think it's fair game to use 4K or UHD when referring to 3840x2160 screens.

Trying to save Crytek i suppose. Don't think it will take off well for PC when Xbox was such a flop

Any games coming to PC is great news, but marketing support for a resolution as anything special? LOL

And some disagree. I will buy it for pc. Even tho I am getting X1 and PS4... Cause while it might be repetitive like most games it is something I want to experience myself.

How about something interesting & substantial like that "Nvidia Shield Tablet" review?

It's good to see I'm not alone on this. A little surprising to see this is getting a retail release.
