Yay for another $3000+ card!
Not to mention that if/when it comes out, the next generation will be literally around the corner, but hey, I'm sure some millionaires will be happy to have something to burn their green on. π

Well, Titan Z is also reported as a 12GB buffer but we all know about how Dual-GPU frame buffer works.
I didn't see anywhere being mentioned about how many GB will this "possibly" new card have.
A teaser below. π

It looks like HardwareCanucks went there. If he didn't then he sure put some effort in it. π
He doesn't mention the dual GPU, though. Just the GTX 980 (without the M) for laptops.
The second link doesn't contain much info. The first one has some benches.

Soooo sweet if true. Hopefully not over 9000 dollars though.
Bring back the duals!
By that I mean affordable dual cards... not 2 to 3000 dollars but 690 type pricing.

Dual cards so so f-ing stupid.
Always slower and more expensive than 2 single gpus, and usually with less overclocking headroom.
Also they sell such small volumes that I can't imagine it being very profitable either.
They should make a single card with double the shader cores, double the ram, double the bus width and a decent stock OC and then we'll talk.
SLI scaling and sli compatibility will always be a problem and one I have always been unwilling to overlook.

Who knows if will be dual gpu this year.
Is only marketing psychological war,to see how people will react if nvidia will put an X2 card on the market. If people react positively then may be a chance to they do it.

Maxwell with ARM CPU to offload driver and async compute. XDRAM for free anti-aliasing.
