This landed at the same time as navi 14 leak. I guess the two will compete.

I would have assumed the 5600XT Navi would compete more with the GTX 1660Ti but perhaps there will be 5600/5600XT and then 5500/5500XT as all niches are filled out and 580 is replaced etc. For this card the memory bus and amount of memory will be interesting. If it sticks to 4GB and 128bit then it would same more sensible to pay a bit extra for the 1660. At the bottom end it is only a small amount of money to jump a tier. Lets see how it is priced though.

I actually hope for the 2080 Ti Super. After all, who doesn't want more power?

Would be interested in what their pricing would look like, if they had 3-4 SKUs in the GeForce family. Something like: enthusiast or cheap Quadro for work (~2080Ti), Mid (2060-2070), "Better then integrated" (xx30-xx50).

If you don't like it, don't buy it πŸ˜‰

Wait a sec, didn't Jensen Huang say something to the effect that anyone buying a new GPU these days is stupid to buy a GPU without RT? πŸ˜•

They should better make GTX 1680 Ti.

Will not be surprised if it pops up, if the competition force them to give us a full chip. Tho, it would probably cost about 2000usd where i live.. Even the non 2080 cost about 1-1300usd.. Great time to be a pc gamer.. If Amd or intel dosent release some high end gpu's and nvidia keeps pushing pricing up. Soon the 70 series will be priced as today 80 series.. And marketed as high end card.:p

Are you sure? The other Supers didn't cost more than their counter parts so I'm doubting this would either. The 2080Ti at its current price point is hardly a best seller πŸ˜› I don't think nVidia would sell a gamer card for 2000$, that would be foolish.

And kill RTX2060/S? Nah. Looks like Nvidia will try the leapfrog approach again, like with the "Super" line-up. I bet these will come before Navi 14, and leave AMD space to adjust pricing.

Current 2080ti's cost around 1600usd, the high end cards is around 18-1900usd. Is it one thing nvidia is good at, its charging more for less. "it just works" as the ceo says. πŸ˜€

Pretty sure you can install Geforce drivers on Quadros now so technically the most expensive Nvidia gaming card is $5500.

Since Jensen said it would be stupid to buy a card without Ray Tracing support, I guess Nvidia treats their customers just like that. Dear Nvidia, f. you.
Technically all Nvidia cards pascal and up can enable raytracing

Technically, I can read review of game and see some screenshots instead of playing it. πŸ˜€

Sure, but at what cost? The GPU market sucks these days. If you want something reasonably priced, you're only going to get 1080p performance, at which point you could just buy a GPU from 4 years ago that'll get the job done, for a lower price (I'm still using an R9 290 because it still holds up for 1080p; a 780Ti would hold up a lot better). 1440p-capable GPUs are now affordable, but 1440p displays are expensive, and rarely go above 32 inches. 4K-capable GPUs are overpriced, and even then, only the 2080 Ti is reliably 4K-ready (which is unreasonably expensive). We keep getting all these incremental varieties of mid-range GPUs (from both Nvidia and AMD), and nobody is asking for them. The market is just getting cluttered and saturated with products that aren't impressing anyone. As much as I'd really like to upgrade, I'm probably going to hold off on Turing and Navi until Intel enters the ring, or, until there's a GPU with a chiplet-like design. There needs to be a real shakeup in the GPU market, and although RTX is a step in the right direction, it isn't enough.
