"Are you sure? The other Supers didn't cost more than their counter parts so I'm doubting this would either. The 2080Ti at its current price point is hardly a best seller 😛 I don't think nVidia would sell a gamer card for 2000$, that would be foolish." It was a joke, tho. Current 2080ti's cost around 1600usd, the high end cards is around 18-1900usd. Is it one thing nvidia is good at, its charging more for less. "it just works" as the ceo says. 😀
Wait for 3080ti probably 2k+

Wait a sec, didn't Jensen Huang say something to the effect that anyone buying a new GPU these days is stupid to buy a GPU without RT? 😕
See he lies.And also troll.

These can be one post. I don't think anyone with a reasonable level of intelligence took Jens comment on RT to apply to mid to low end GPUs. It was a direct response to a question about the release of AMD's 5700/XT series that goes up against RTX hardware. There is obviously no point of doing RT on lower than 2060 when 2060 can barely run it. The fact that people are incapable of reading into that kind of boggles my mind.
Undying:

I dont think so but we know what nvidia did there.
What did Nvidia do there?

RTX Titan ultimate performance and the fastest graphics card ever made. "Not for gaming".

You can think what you want nvidia is doing sh.t job trying to sell every card.It is pretty idiotic to say dont buy non rtx cards (AMD) better buy rtx and now release gtx 1650ti.

It's not that it's not for gaming but I don't think they specifically market it for gaming. When AMD released the Vega Frontier Edition I didn't say "AMD has a $1700 gaming card" it was just a $1700 card that could game if you wanted it to.
Petr V:

I would quote you but your post is screwed up so it shows up blank
He didn't even say don't buy non-RTX cards. He said don't buy non-RTX cards and expect them to be relevant for more than 2 years. Which is honestly probably accurate given a number of reasons, regardless to RT.

Will not be surprised if it pops up, if the competition force them to give us a full chip. Tho, it would probably cost about 2000usd where i live.. Even the non 2080 cost about 1-1300usd.. Great time to be a pc gamer.. If Amd or intel dosent release some high end gpu's and nvidia keeps pushing pricing up. Soon the 70 series will be priced as today 80 series.. And marketed as high end card.:p
Is a bad time to be a pc gamer that want a pumped up config Mid graphics cards, like the 5700 are affordable and playable at 1440p. This year is way less bad than last year. Last year you either got an over priced 1080ti or an over priced 2080/2080ti. This year you have some alternatives

Seems to me there isn't really much of a gap, price-wise, to insert a 1650 Ti in-between the existing 1650 and 1660. A potential GTX 1650 Ti would make more sense if the board partners could see some way to clear out all of the existing GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti backlog for prices a lot more realistic than they currently are, and then lower the cost of the 1650. ($140 USD for a new, 2gb GTX 1050? $160 USD for a GTX 1050 Ti? Cut me a break.) I get that the AIBs have already invested in these Pascal cards and don't really want to fall on their swords, but I can't see why anyone would opt for any of these cards, perhaps even the 1650 Ti, as long as the RX 570 is lurking around for as little as $130 USD.

^yeah exactly, the 570 is easily the best value right now. I was looking to upgrade mine, but nothing is worth it right now.

A 1650 Ti is gonna be worthless. Nvidia needs to focus on their next generation and make RT at a reasonable price.
data/avatar/default/avatar04.webp
What is the point Nvidia? To me the 1650 Ti is only the 1650 with more cuda cores and horse power and that is it. At least with the 1050 vs 1050 ti the 1050 ti had more Vram on top of it being more powerful. Also with my x58 rig I already bypassed the 1650 and got a 1660 which is huge upgrade over the 1050. And AMD has cards that are reasonably priced as well. Also at the performance and price point I see no reason for this card to exist much like the 1060 3GB.
