Great for the few who build their own seats. I thought the G27 wheel was pretty niche but I think this goes more niche than niche itself

$850 for three-pedal set and $100 for stand? Are they crazy? A Logitech G27 wheel/pedal/H-shifter set costs about $250.

Well it's for the 2 guys here in America that happen to also own racing teams but get bored at home and the 40 or so virgins in China that are super uber zweebo racing geeks. So they should be out of business not too long after this goes on sale. Get it while you can.

Wasn't sure if I should post this up here or not as it really is primarily for hardcore sim racers. It's actually pretty cheap for a high end pedal set when compared to others like V-Racing or FrexGP. The key word here is high-end; Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec are aimed at the main-$tream segment of the market, if you want realism then you have to pay to play. Bear in mind these are actual motorsports pedals... pedal boxes by themselves are quite expensive. Factor in master cylinders, controller box and software R&D and the fact it is very much a niche market, they have to make a profit somehow.

Price wise that's very cheap for top end sim gear. I've seen pedal sets for around the 2K mark that are similar in quality to those. I like the ECU for the brake and the clutch. Would think that they should have used it for the accelerator as well, either mechanical or hydraulic would have worked fine. Better than hall effect sensor at least...

Seeing as most cars now are using hall-effect sensors in their accelerator pedals that's not a big deal. Yes this is not a bad price. The pedals on my G27 are nice but the clutch and brake pedals are far from realistic. They make it difficult to properly modulate the brakes so I tend to leave ABS on in most games, but when I race irl my car does not have ABS.

Thing is the hall-effect sensor's on them are usually a bit avg compared to the ones used in cars (well the decent ones at least). Still prefer the feel of a mechanical accelerator though. Know what ya mean about ABS. If you have your brakes setup well in a race car ABS can be a hindrance rather than a help 😉

looooooooooooooooooooool This is top top gear my friend. You clearly do not know what you are talking about, this is like comparing a 50$ wheel setup with the g27 but here you only have the pedals. The g27 is good for sim racers but for the hardcore veteran as they will get this without looking for the price. I am a proud owner of a g25 but after 2-4 yrs you will start to feel some problems. Same goes for the g27. The shifter is the first thing to fail and next it will be the pedals as they will lose precision. The center of the wheel will also start to get flimsy.
