£420 for a white office chair with a logo....that's £340 for the logo, as for the 4d... is this a time machine because according to H G Wells 4D( 4th dimension) is the movement through time. As for the office chair... I built this for less than £100, my seat slides forward backward left and right, it swivels....turns in to a bed and has storage. https://scontent-lcy1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.6435-9/p640x640/199784070_10219050534322999_4141999330985784901_n.jpg?_nc_cat=104&ccb=1-5&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=VZYcUrqob6EAX8SspzD&_nc_ht=scontent-lcy1-1.xx&oh=00_AT_4nIRbsYQHcpYLdNymQv-RTXJr2BDjV0nHLXwawfzGhA&oe=61D98DF9

That's pretty creative. What did the seat come out of???

Vauxhall astra estate i believe, purchased off ebay for £45 inc pp, originally purchased for my sim rig until a work colleague offered me a leather seat he was replacing in his AMD merc so that made the astra seat a spare

1. Pump mechanism: cheapest and worse even than Ikea Markus. 2. Fake leather: it may look it is stronger than leather, but it isn't. Check after 2 years of daily usage. Leather breath, fake leather do not. Leather can be treated (with leather cosmetics) which may prolong life to decades, poly-leather can't. But best are material seats which are even more breathable and even more durable (even materials made from poly/plastic fibers has better usage characteristics than simple fake leather). 3. Back of chair mechanism: one looking very similar (one of my chairs) lasts about half year. Overall chair worth maybe €100 (£80 ?).

Just the next generic "gaming" chair, where the word gaming is used to pump the price.

I think you're being a little unfair to Noble chairs, having used one it is pretty nice and well made. Of course, value is subjective and I'd say it's a tad overpriced. But anyhoo.

450€ for a chair?... Not for me then, no matter how nice it is.

"Faux leather"..... $530 for a chinese "gaming" chair, sold by a company based in Germany.....using VINYL and misrepresenting it as "faux leather"..... It's not leather. It has literally nothing in common with leather.

Speak of the Devil, I just bought a chair a couple of weeks ago!...;) Secret Labs' Titan Evo 2022 Series. I feel I should say a little something about it. https://secretlab.co/products/titan-evo-2022-series?rfsn=1468030.7e998&utm_source=refersion&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=1468030.7e998&subid=pcg-us-5300207530304254000 I'll state unequivocally, it's the best chair I've ever owned, and my last chair was an $800 plush, all genuine Leather, cushiony soft office chair. It felt great--like a cloud--first few days. But after less than ten days my back began to complain, loudly. Turns out that while the decadent part of me loved that chair, my back had a serious disagreement with it! It was simply too soft, and it was intended for looks as well as short-term comfort and support. But the chair I use has to hold up for 10-16 hours a day, every day. The office chair was meant for short uses of an hour or two at a time, and it really gave me a backache in the end. If you want a really fine computer chair that you can really use, I don't think you can beat these Secret Labs chairs. They look great, too--although I have little interest in cosmetics, especially if they distract from the back support and quality of a chair. If you are interested or looking for a chair you owe it to yourself to peruse the website if nothing else. You get a 3-year warranty on the chair which includes the material it's made with (Genuine leather, Leatherette (SL's own grade of the stuff), or fabric), and the warranty is easily expandable to 5 years (and covers the chair material as well.) Website says they've sold a million chairs, and lists 29,390 customer reviews with an aggregate score of 4.9 out of a possible 5. I considered real Leather, but as it's double the price, it didn't take long to see that the Leatherette would be the best buy!.. The website has an in-depth look at the different kinds of leather substitutes offered, what they are and what they aren't, etc. I thought long about the fabric--but with the warranty, I decided to go with the Leatherette. Couple of details. I ordered the chair on Thursday night, It was delivered Saturday morning by FedEx, two-day delivery, that cost me a whopping $9..!! That was a pleasant surprise! Additionally, the company has no US retail stores, so I was spared the usual 7% sales tax! Another delightful surprise. Took all of ~25 minutes to assemble it myself--there are tons of Google videos easily found on the Internet that cover every aspect of the chair, from unboxing to assembly, and the chair includes the very best assembly instructions I have ever seen for any chair I've assembled over the last three decades--take a look at the assembly videos on the company site and on the Internet at large. OK--I am completely satisfied with the chair--this material resembles "vinyl" in look and feel exactly as much as cashmere feels and looks like vinyl...;) That's code for it's nothing like vinyl, and I believe that is a very good thing! I'm 6' tall, 200Lbs, and the "regular" chair fits perfectly. If you are shopping for a chair, I hope this helps...
