Super review as always and enjoyed reading 🙂 Great looking card with RGB lights going on .
I've been wanting to go back to a single card setup now for sometime now, but im still waiting for AMD new cards before i make the decision .
I have the feeling that AMD won't be able to beat the 1080ti in performance (hope im wrong)

That's some insane memory clocks. If I go above +600 the performance decreases for me, however my average core is 2088MHz on my MSI Gaming X. Even though I like the look of the new Lighting more, if it is anywhere like the older Lightnings, it will have quite the GPU sag considering how massive it is. 🙂

Dayumn pascal OC's like shizle, be it midget or full blown chip.
I expected 2GHz will be the limit and it still is.. Wonder what Volta will do, hard limit at 2.3Ghz? 😀

I'am little wondering..
got a 2-way-sli of the MSI GTX 1080 Lighning Z
and did not get over 650 Watts (read by the Corsair PSU).
The cards run in normal mode and not Lightning mode.
