I was waiting for the irdm series to offer something of good quality and good value like the irdm pro line did for sata ssds back in the day.
it's not a great buy at 320eur though, with 980pro, sn850 and sn770 drives selling cheaper.

I just bought firecuda 730 2tb 7k/7k for around 235e, so...
There are options now.

Great review.
Just ordered the 2tb version.
Better than kioxia pro at the same price and way cheaper than other options like the sn850x and kc3000 for maybe 2% less performance.
130€ for the 2tb version. Others 8-channel Phison E18 176-layer NAND drives are way way more expensive.
