good performance,goes head to head with 6800.
8G is not enough for a $600 msrp card though,despite RT and DLSS.

It could not even match the 6800 non xt at higher price and half the vram. And i though 3080ti was disappointing.

of course it matches 6800 and even offers better RT performance and DLSS
here is how things stand when you throw in 3 rt games (metro EE,cp2077,minecraft) in a 10 game benchmark.
6800 gets beaten by 3070 non-ti,easily.

they go head to head,a couple of reviews showing 6800 3% ahead is not exactly worthy of you doing victory laps here lol
vram is the problem here,not performance.10g g6 320-bit would be a lot better.a big problem imo.even a $500 msrp 3070 they're asking too much for an 8g card.$600 card with 8g - no way.
both Ti's are a hard pass.apart from 3060ti which is really well balanced and would sell like crazy if it weren't for the shortage.

This is just funny how 8gb vram can be a bottleneck in few games. It can be even slower than 2080ti. Imagine turning on the raytracing in such a titles where you lack memory as it is, it would crumble.

yup 8g can fall apart when it's a demanding game
10g g6x 320bit whips 16g g6 256-bit every time tho
nvidia really crippled this card with 8g

So 100w more for 5% performance over 3070 no ''Ti''.. Uhuh. Sorry looks like the most pointless GPU ever this generation, in some titles it loses to 2080 Ti in 4K, yikes! Especially at that price.

it must have been some next level money grabbing oriented AI that designed this card
I think the performance is there tho.
but you put every other aspect of this card under scrutiny and it falls apart.performance per dollar,vram,efficiency......no need to go further.

Extremely underwhelming, I can't believe this is the card I waited for, too little VRAM, best cards this gen is RTX3060Ti and RTX3080, the rest is just overpriced for what they give compared to their siblings. Sooooo pathetic. 🙁

Compared to the 3070:
1.Same amount of RAM as the 3070.
2. 5-7% faster than the 3070 (on the 2 desired resolution for a card this powerful).
3. Nearly 20% less efficient than the 3070. WTF
4. GPU is 82 degrees. WTF

Sorry, but I can only call the 3070 Ti a piece of crap. At least the 3080 Ti was very close to the 3090 and it is cheaper (on paper and in real life) than the 3090.
Compared to the RX 6800:
1. RX 6800 is 3% faster in 4K and 4% in 1440p.
2. RX 6800 has WAY BETTER efficiency: 33% better than the 3070 Ti.
3. RX 6800 has DOUBLE the amount of VRAM.
4. RX 6800 is 20 dollars cheaper.
The ONLY THING the 3070 Ti is better at is RT, where we have only a few games and DLSS 2.0 is supported only in a part of them.

I'd prolly take 6800 at msrp if I had to choose one,but frankly,it's not like I'd really like either.It's just I wouldn't like 3070ti especially.

Those cards are trash by any means and don't serve any purpose at the current time, they should not even exist.

Seems some ppl missed the point of this card. Which is purely a profit-generating card, nothing more. Not sure why anyone would look at this card as if were a 'normal release' or there were no GPU shortages around and expecting it (or the 3080ti) to be released at normal prices.
