{cueing the heavenly choir singing "Ahhhhh"} perfection. the first time i've seen an ATX case that wouldn't look out of place in a living room. i love it

it looks like an air purifier. Not sure that's good or bad.

This would be a great case for a traditional Noctua themed build.

So, it's just another box, like every other case out there. I have nothing against FD, heck, I use 3 of their cases right now ( all of my active cases are FD! ), it's just that... there's nothing left to innovate in computer cases. Not sure why even bothering "reviewing" a case. A few pictures with no words are enough. End of story.

I like the wood trim--nice! I'm probably going to spring for a Meshify 2 when I go for my AM5 X3D in a couple of months...it's time for a new case. I like the case reviewed here just fine...nice review, but I like roomy mid-towers with lots of depth--always have--and it's possible I might wind up with an E-ATX mboard, maybe. Still debating with myself about that. But even with an ATX mboard, I like having the extra room in a case. How do you like the ATX Asroc Steel Legend, HH? I really like the price! (I have one request, HH. Us primitive Americans across the pond are still on the Imperial measuring system, and it would be really nice if you'd start including inches with cm and mm...!) Edit: Read the review on the Steel Legend. Great price, but no Clear CMOS back panel button, and I didn't even see a jumper listed. Well, I guess this one won't do--I have to have the backpanel Clear CMOS button.

well any case that prefers a window over a fan isnt taking cooling as serious as it could do.

The Asrock is fine. Still - that lack of the CMOS button on the back panel is an omission. As for the the inches etc - I usually try to include that (although many manufacturers use only cm/mm). I'll do my best to put that in more (all?) reviews.

It looks very nice and the price is finally right but why so smol? Also I wish there was a version with a solid panel, I'm so tired of glass.

With the wood paneling, it's probably meant to be placed somewhere very visible, like a living room or any room with careful, clean interior design. It's probably better it's not humongous in that case.

I like it but it looks lost. πŸ™‚

I love the look of this case. I am going to be heavily considering swapping to the oak version.

Well, put some charcoal filters on the front and it probably could be an air purifier too.

If you cover up the fire decals on a car with paint, will it still go fast? If your PC's RGB lights can't blast their way into the room, will you haz all the GHz? On a serious note though, I agree - if I'm having a wooden case, I want it a bit more subdued.

If the case was all covered by some wood finish then it would look different and maybe cool. But just having the front panle with some wood is kinda of weak. It`s a good case, nothing more.

Sure, I guess you're right. It just won't be for higher end builds with more powerful parts that need good airflow.

Not to mention that solid panels mask component sound better πŸ™‚

Too much wood and then it starts looking like 60s-70s radio or TV set.

True but at least it would be something differente while this case is just like all the others, with the only difference being the front panel...

Imagine having a RTX4090 power connector related fire in this case, that wooden front would be smokin' πŸ™„

imagine not knowing that the connector can't catch fire.

Reminds me when on multiplayer games someone was loading for too long we where asking for fun if the player has a wooden PC .... This time someone might say ... Actually...yes!
