Nice review. The B650 and B650E boards seem fantastic for the needs of most people. Depending on whether you care about PCIE 5 support down the line, some of the slightly higher end models (like the B650E-F Rog Strix) can still be had for under $300 with zero drawbacks...at least on paper.

Way better choise in AM5 as this one isn't overpriced compared to other brand equivalent as the X670E was.
Nice review (as always 🙂 )

The board seems really nice but I think it should be priced bellow the 200 euro mark.
I'm excited to read future reviews about the ROG versions of the b650 chipsets.
Hilbert, can you tell us how long it takes to boot?
It would be nice to know that.
Anyway, great review!

60 watts I can believe, but 60 Amps would make it an expensive computer to operate as it would more current than an household dryer. Could it be an misprint?

Just curious, what's the deal with Zen 4 boot times? Seems like that's always a topic that comes up in discussions, but people don't really get into the details. Is it an actual issue beyond the first time memory diagnostic? I know that apparently takes a few minutes, but it shouldn't be a regular issue. Are there boot time issues after that initial instance? Is so, how extreme? It's not exactly a deal breaker, but I don't exactly feel like going back to multi-minute boot and reboot times.
